I’ve always loved hosting, creating beauty on a budget, and making people feel seen and celebrated. Over time, I realized that what fills me most isn’t just decorating a space, it’s helping people feel worthy of being celebrated.
That’s the heart behind The Planted & The Poured: Creating gatherings that overflow with grace, beauty, and genuine connection.
where purpose took root
My passion met its true purpose when I began leading Embrace Grace, a 12-week support group at my church for single, pregnant women. It’s a safe place where moms are reminded they’re not alone, that their stories matter, and their babies are a gift.
Each semester ends with a baby shower, celebrating these women with joy, dignity, and community. Volunteers do their hair and makeup, and I do a maternity photoshoot in my backyard. While the shower does equip them with baby and postpartum essentials, more importantly, we make sure our moms feel seen, known, and deeply loved.
